Dreams & Realities

Faith without works is dead. Dreams don’t work unless you do. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. The list goes on of famous quotes that remind us that we’re the only vessels needed to produce change in our lives. I would like to add to that long list of words that attempt to inspire with, if it requires manipulation, it’s not worth anticipation. Sometimes we force things in hopes that our efforts will result in something worth all the time and energy expended. Throughout all of history, most of the greatest triumphs were led by determined individuals with shared values who channeled mutual effort and energy towards achieving a shared goal. Our biggest challenge is to not assume we have to do all the work alone. Once we decide to let people in without any advantageous spirits nor ulterior motives on either side, we can truly begin to form community and solidarity in overcoming struggles. We need each other to find ways to persevere that don’t deplete our life force. I’ll leave you with this, be the vessel to inspire unity and expire the loneliness epidemic.
